Hearts of Appalachia Project, Inc. is collecting real Christmas memories from families across our mountains — coal camps, hollers, small towns, and everywhere in between. We’re building a community collection called “Christmas Stories From the Mountains,” preserving the simple, heartfelt traditions and moments that shaped us. If you’d like to share your favorite Christmas memory — big or small — we would be honored to include it. Your story helps keep our heritage alive and reminds future generations what the mountains are made of.
