Take a nostalgic trip back to downtown London, Kentucky, with this beautiful REDA Theatre Heritage Christmas Ornament.
Opened in 1948, the REDA Theatre became a favorite entertainment destination for generations of Laurel County families. With its illuminated marquee and approximately 700 seats, the theatre brought the excitement of Hollywood movies to the heart of downtown London.
The REDA closed on Christmas Eve in 1972, and the building was demolished in 1990. Although the theatre is gone, its memories remain part of London's history.
Our 4-inch acrylic ornament brings the REDA back to life in a festive Christmas setting, featuring a glowing marquee advertising It's a Wonderful Life, holiday wreaths, and a sparkling champagne-gold frame.
The holiday movie marquee is a creative tribute to the season, not a depiction of a documented historical showing.
A special keepsake for former moviegoers, vintage theatre enthusiasts, and anyone who remembers London's beloved REDA.
